ello everyone :)


Sorry for not updating for a while. My internet has been acting up again these couple of weeks and i'm rarely home. It's the hols and as usual....very boring. I've been either staying at home or working. On most days, i just stay at home and sit infront of the laptop for the whole day. I've got an arsenal of games to play so it isnt that bad actually :)


Anyways, my birthday is coming up. Yup, Dec 7th :). As Aliya says, were gonna combine all of the december birthdays and haf one party. Which includes, Me, Nik, Farah, Shaza and Aliya. Still figuring out wat to do and wen to do it. swt.


I'm saving up my cash. Oh wait. forgot to ask my dad for todays pay. heh. I just need a new graphic card for my comp and i've decided on the ATI mobility radeon HD3870 x2.


I'll guess i'll end this post now. I'm not gonna write down reviews. I'm making video review heh :)

anyways, i just got back from pyramid. Sorry for not blogging for a week. Internet has been reli shitty. In case u din noe, the holidays haf started :D so if u wanna hang out, just call me : D. I reli hated this school year. Reli *insert vulgar word here* hated my class. Full of fricking annoying ppl.


At pyramid today i watched Quarantine.

i reached pyramid at 2.30. Met chen hui, don and nik at arcade. Then met up wit aan, fizmo, etc etc etc : D. they watched same movie as us lol. summore sit infront of us ==. The whole cinema kept on screaming wen watching this movie. so were we lol.


After the movie we went to go CC. played sum games and then went to mcd. Then CHAOED : D


now i review Quarantine. bcos Tom asked me to :)


This movie is scary and very shocking. It uses the same camera style as Cloverfield. taken wit handheld camera. makes it more realistic : D. from the time the guy falls down the stairs u can get heart attack di lol (quote by nik XD)


I think i'll just post the whole synopsis

**SPOILERS**MAJOR SPOILERS**

The film opens with reporter Angela Vidal (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman Scott Percival (Steve Harris) doing a report on the night shift of a Los Angeles fire station. Angela and Scott are introduced to firefighters Fletcher (Johnathon Schaech) and Jake (Jay Hernandez), whom they will be following for the evening.

A medical emergency at an apartment complex is reported and the night shift is sent in. Yuri (Rade Serbedzija), the building manager, explains that a woman has been screaming, but is now silent. They are joined by two police officers, James (Andrew Fiscella) and Danny (Columbus Short), in the lobby. They are led to the apartment of Mrs. Espinoza (Jeannie Epper), the source of the screaming. Yuri unlocks the door when she does not answer, and a dog runs out. Within the apartment, Espinoza is struggling to breathe, covered in blood, and foaming at the mouth. She bites James before being subdued by Fletcher. The others take James downstairs to get medical assistance, but find the building sealed shut by the authorities. Fletcher falls from the top floor, bitten, breaking his leg. Lawrence (Greg Germann), a veterinarian, tends to the injured men.

Danny and Jake go upstairs to subdue Espinoza, where they find the cleaning lady dead in her apartment. Danny shoots Espinoza when she charges them. They all return to the lobby, meeting Sadie (Dania Ramirez) on the way. By this time, all exterior windows and doors are being sealed, and cell phones are being jammed. Anyone who attempts to leave is forced back at gunpoint. Jake believes they are being quarantined due to a nuclear, biological, or chemical emergency. Danny and Jake round up the tenants and bring them to the lobby, including Elsie (Stacy Chbosky), who is displaying the same symptoms as Espinoza.

While Fletcher, James, and Elsie are treated by Lawrence, Angela begins interviewing tenants. One little girl, Briana (Joey King), is sick. Briana claims that she has a dog named Max who was sick and taken to an animal hospital. Lawrence states that the symptoms of those infected are similar to rabies, only much more fast-acting.

Angela and Scott notice Bernard and Sadie sneaking away, looking for a TV to try to discover what is happening outside. Espinoza's infected dog appears and attacks one of the tenants. They reach Bernard's apartment and turn on the news, where the chief of police claims that everyone has been evacuated from the building, just before the power is shut off. The group is then attacked by Elsie, whom Scott kills.

Downstairs, Fletcher tries to attack everyone in the lobby, but Danny injects him with a sedative and then rounds everyone up in the textile shop. Danny states that Centers for Disease Control and Prevention agents are coming in to give blood tests. The residents are also told that anyone who is not infected will be released. Lawrence observes that the only way to test for rabies is through a brain sample, not a blood test, but Danny insists on following procedure. After a roll call, Yuri reveals that the penthouse apartment of the building is being rented by a man from Boston who is absent.

The CDC agents arrive and examine the infected victims, taking a brain sample from Fletcher. Fletcher breaks his restraints and attacks one of the agents. Danny, Jake, and the other agent escape, leaving Lawrence locked in the room with the infected. The textile shop is locked and the surviving CDC agent is forced to explain the situation: Briana's dog was brought to a vet with an unknown illness and infected all the animals there. The dog was traced back to the apartment building; Briana's fever is then called into question, and she bites her mother before running upstairs. Briana's mother, who is now hysterical, is handcuffed to the stairwell.

Danny is bitten by Briana, and many of the survivors downstairs are bitten as well. The survivors lock themselves in an upstairs room. The surviving CDC agent has been bitten and runs away to keep from infecting the others. He is locked in an adjacent room while the others try to figure out what to do. Sadie is also bitten but Bernard pleads with the others not to kill her. Bernard cuts through a window seal to call for help, but is killed by a sniper. Yuri reveals that they can escape through a basement passage into the sewers; however, the keys are in his apartment. He is then killed by the infected agent. His wife is then killed by Sadie, who succumbed to the infection.

Angela, Scott, and Jake make their way to Yuri's apartment to get his keys, avoiding and killing several infected while doing so. Jake is bitten along the way, and the infected chase Angela and Scott into the penthouse apartment. Within, they discover that the man from Boston, who was renting the penthouse, was a member of a doomsday cult that was cultivating an "Armageddon virus". A noise from the attic prompts Scott to investigate, and he finds an infected boy. The boy destroys the light on Scott's camera, so he turns on the night vision. Angela and Scott then see an emaciated man (Doug Jones) emerge from another room. He walks past them initially but attacks Scott when Angela inadvertently makes a noise. Angela watches through the night vision of the camera as the infected man eats Scott. The man then attacks her, causing her to drop the camera. The final shot is of Angela crawling back to the camera only to be dragged into the darkness, screaming.

today was the usual Sunday. a boring day if u ask me. Just sit at home, playing the comp all day. btw, Chen Hui is a retard -,- (incase u already din noe).


Oh! and i watch Tropic Thunder today! lol.



Its dm funny. I recommend it for anyone hu wants to laugh their hearts out : D. Heh. i got nothing much to talk about so i'll just get on wit the game review :).

GAME REVIEW

Today I'll be reviewing


James Bond - Quantum Of Solace


I'm gonna start off this review wit the positives of this game;


Firstly; the game makes u feel as if ur 007. all the stealth and the gun blazing action. Its fun : D



**I believe i can fly**

Secondly; It runs the same engine as Call Of Duty 4. thats the reason i decided to buy this game.


Thirdly; The AI is kinda smart. They'll flank u wen ur in cover. and if ur in the same position they'll flush u out with a grenade.


Now for the negatives...

Firstly; the single player campaign is TOO SHORT. i mean very very short. i finished it in 4 hours ==.

Secondly; why is it that every where i go i'm sure to see a Sony Vaio sitting on a table? theres too much AD is this game. Got Nokia lah, Sony erricson lah, everything oso got ==.



**explosions are nice. but sumtimes u feel as if they should've done better**


Thirdly; eventhough its the same engine as CoD4, the graphics are not as nice. the graphics in this game are just so-so.


Conclusion; This game did alot better than previous Bond games but it cant beat 1997's Goldeneye which changed fps games. There's nothing outstanding with this game.

So I'll give it a
7.5

welcome to my blog.
i got BORED and decided to make a new one lol.
so lets get started :)

**Caution** i will be reviewing games. so if ur not interested pls X out : D

Today went to pyramid. went wit Nik and his little brother(he's std 6 btw). OH! and btw, Nik's uncle is dm cool wei! he looks like a rapper :P . Anyways, we went to go shisha. i like to shisha at pyramid. the arabians hu work there are friendly :D. anyways, ordered for GRAPE but Niks bro said too heavy, so we changed to ORANGE :D now orange is my new fave flavour : D

on the way there, met wit Donovan. So he oso shisha wit us (so called gud boy :P). after shisha-ing, met up wit Fizmo and the rest at Mcd, but for a while oni since i wanted to go buy games XD. Bought Quantum of Solace (yes, the james bond game) wanted to give it a try bcos its the same engine as CoD4, Unreal Tournament 3 (yes, it's been a while), and The Club (dunno why the hell i bought it lol). I wanted to buy FallOut 3 but they said it was sold out. but i got to play the first few mins of the game on the Xbox360 outside.

Its kinda cool. cant wait to get it. btw, i'll review that game wen i get it lol. wen i was playing suddenly the game CRASHED ==. so i went off to asian avenue wit nik and the rest. then had to go back. I met Shaf and Ah Seng at the entrance. And also Aliya and Claire. then dad picked me up. now i'm blogging : D.

**NOW FOR THE REVIEW : D**

today i will be reviewing FAR CRY 2



now, I'm gonna start off wit the good points of this game.

Firstly; the graphics are BEAUTIFUL. Their about a step away from Crysis. If this is what they can do now, i cant wait for wat they'll do in a few years.



**u just gotta love these graphics.


Secondly; its a fricking large world to play in. its about 50 square miles of african land. THERE ARE EVEN ANIMALS! AND U CAN SHOOT THEM! : D.


Thirdly; the realism of the game. for example, wen u se a gun for a long time, it starts to rust. it sumtimes jam. and it can explode (i experienced this in the game, almost died). and sumtimes, ur car will stop. u'll haf to get out and fix it.


fourthly; FIRE!! the fire is fricking nice!! u can set a jungle on fire and watch as nearby africans
burn to their deaths. yes, it is fun : D.



**BURN!! BURN!!!


fifthly and lastly; THE MAP EDITOR! its simple and easy to use, but it can cr8 awesome maps. even make the eiffel tower 0.0


Now for the bad points.


Firstly; the map is too big. too big that transport can be kinda annoying. u'll need to travel alot and far. i mean FARRRR. and its not like Crysis wen u haf the nanosuit.


Secondly; it needs a good comp. the graphics are gud, yes. but u'll need a good comp to run it.

So I'll rate it an amazing
9.0
